DIANO SIDERURGICA S.r.l. iron and steel manufacturing is located in the industrial area of Lazzaro (Reggio Calabria) on a 20,000 square metre area, 6,000 of which are covered;
The iron and steel activity started in 1980 with the installation of a hot continuous rolling mill to make steel rods for reinforced concrete. In the early 90’s, we invested heavily in renewing and enlarging the facilities and this increased the production capacity up to 100.000 tons/year. Furthermore, the facility’s in-house laboratories made the product certifications possible.

In the mid-90’s the building industry crisis led us to temporarily suspend production activity.
Nowadays our passion for iron and steel has brought us to install a new, modern hot continuous rolling mill to produce high added value special carbon steels with a capacity of more than 100,000 tons/year.
Together with our long experience in this industry, our new facility has a high level of automation of the production processes in order to maintain high quality standards and in which the personnel only carry out supervision and control tasks.
